Anxiety Disorders

A quick google search provided me with this fact: At the end of 2021, “anxiety” was the children’s word of the year in the United Kingdom. While we are far from the UK, I am certain anxiety has been a significant emotion we have all experienced since the beginning of COVID-19. Not only are we experiencing anxiety related to our overall health, but the way of life as we knew it prior to 2020 has changed.

Aside from the worries of major health complications, anxiety is all-encompassing day-to-day. This seemingly relentless ailment clouds our ability to function effectively.

When our daily functioning is challenged, we tend to feel off kilter and even more anxious! Then the panic attacks happen, and we just feel like we are trapped in a world of constant worry. There is good news though, anxiety is common which means there are many techniques to use which are proven to help!

How I can Help:

While working together, we will identify the life stressors which are bombarding the anxious mind. By utilizing various forms of therapy, we will work through each stressor to develop ways of managing the worry to alleviate the panic and entrapment of anxiety.
