Like the moon, through its waxing and waning, You are forever whole

A place where you can find yourself, meet yourself, and be yourself.

Mission Statement:

I value providing a nurturing space for individuals to find their authentic selves, free from judgment, shame, and fear of not meeting societal standards. Far too often people feel misunderstood, hopeless, and alone. I wish to see a world where people are supported, forgiven for their past, and given an opportunity to create the best version of themselves. The mission of Lunar Phase Restorative Health,LLC  is to welcome people as they are and accompany them to the point where they feel whole. I will offer nurturing encouragement and advocacy throughout the process to provide a space where personal forgiveness, growth, and resiliency can occur.

This is Me

When I was in the seventh grade, I knew I wanted to be a social worker. I became captivated by the television show, Intervention. Though the field of Social Work has taught me the reality show was seriously a “made for tv” program, I remain captivated by the common and not-so-common elements which bond humans in this thing we call “life.”

I was born in Boulder, Colorado – hence the name, Wesley (Old English Meaning: “From the West Meadow.”) My life in Boulder lasted a whopping 6 months before my momma and I loaded up a Uhaul and drove cross country, back home to the Bluegrass State. Since that time, I’ve been in and around Madison County developing understandings of the world and those within it – myself included.

One thing I love about Kentucky, aside from its vast landscapes, rich culture, and darn good music, is the fact that Kentuckians understand Kentuckians. While we may not live the same life or be afforded the same opportunities as others, we seem to just “get it.” And that is the type of therapeutic partnership I wish to have with you. I hope to provide you the comfort of knowing
at least one person in your life gets YOU. Collaboratively, we will determine the most effective way for you to navigate the turbulence (AHHH!) and the stillness (om) of life.

216 West Main Street Suite A

Richmond, KY 40475

My office is located in the heart of downtown Richmond in what used to be the Jett & Hall shoe store. Built in 1870, the outside of the building boasts beautiful architecture with intricate designs. My office is located on the second floor and allows for plentiful sunlight to naturally illuminate the area. With the combination of color and natural elements, my hope is to inspire creativity and encourage connection with your inner self. Sometimes going into a therapist’s office can be intimidating, so go ahead and take a look around mine so you know what to expect!

My Education and Experience

I received my Bachelor’s Degree (BSW) from the Social Work Program at Eastern Kentucky University. I then graduated from Campbellsville University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW). After completing four years of clinical supervision, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

My career started in the world of chemical dependency and recovery where I gained much of the skill set I bring to sessions now. By witnessing the barriers faced by many of the women I served, I developed a passion for and tenacity in advocating for systemic changes impacting women all around. In my private practice, I have continued this mission by providing holistic treatment to help women process adverse life experiences and develop the 3 A's - Authenticity, Autonomy, and Agency.
